After wearing glasses or contacts since 1988 I decided it was time to undergo laser eye corrective surgery. The decision to go with London Eye Centre was an easy one. The most important factor for me was experience and London Eye Centre offers the most with over 20 years in business, plus they have been pioneers in corrective surgery. The second reason, and almost as important is the 'No Touch' procedure that uses a cool beam of laser light to correct vision, nothing else touches the eye.
Before my surgery the staff at London Eye Centre answered all my questions and put me at ease, they had plenty of time for my questions. The big day came for my surgery and I don't mind telling you I was a little nervous, but I had no need to be. The staff made me feel at ease again as my eyes were re-measured and a final consultation was completed with Dr. Miller where he answered all my questions. We then moved onto the surgery, the whole procedure took only minutes, the staff was fabulous and I couldn't believe I was actually nervous; I had no need to be.
Well, after my recovery period I can tell you I am amazed at the results. The biggest compliment I can give is I don't even realize I've had it done, I'm back to having perfect vision with no contacts and glasses. The years of having to put contacts in my eyes at 4am are a memory; all I do now is get up and go. I've also noticed that I blink less on TV, those contacts must have been bothering my eyes a lot. As for driving, I've also noticed that my eyes don't dry out the way they did with contacts, I'm very pleased.

The staff is second to none, the after care is excellent, they go to great lengths to make their patients comfortable and follow up is great. It is hard to believe, on March 16th, I was given back my wonderful 20/20 vision, no more contacts, no more glasses. I had looked into laser treatment a few years ago, but held back...the only regret I have is not having it done sooner. Immediately after the procedure I could see. I can now count the trees on the distant mountain ridges and still see up close. The only after effect I have, so far, is excellent vision!

I simply cannot think of enough adjectives to describe my new vision; clear, perfect, wonderful, unbelievable. I could read 20/20 at one week post-op. I made a cross-country motorcycle trip (2200 miles) after the surgery. Through days and nights of unfamiliar roads, pouring rain and bright sunshine. Literally, at every turn in the road, I was reminded of my new vision. I cannot begin to thank you enough for my new vision.
